RICAMIFICIO ALBERTO ROLA was founded on May 5th, 1963 by Mr Alberto Rola and his wife Mrs Ernesta Mara as a third party embroidering company offering their service to other existing embroidery’s factories such as Ricamificio Zibetti, Marco Lagattolla, Forster Rohner, Hammerle & Voegel, Cuccirelli, Filtex, Ricamificio Vanoni, Ricamificio Lusi, Federico Aspesi.
In 1993 the Rola’s sons Carlo and Marco join the family’s business and started the process of growing the company as an independent entity aiming to produce for the external market.
A new line focused on embroidered trims, PRENTISS INTL , was added on 1998 and on 2008 thanks to the partnership with the existing company Imagotessile srl shirting cotton fabrics got introduced to the company.
With the creation of the brand IMAGO-ROLA in 2012, a line of jacquards, quilting, knitsfabric has been introduced to the over the years growing RICAMIFICIO ROLA lines with the aim to offer a wide and complete range of novelties fabrics to the international markets.
Mr Carlo Rola, who oversees the creative R&D of each collections, is also the commercial manager and his several yearly trips to different markets such as Asia and United States allow him to be knowledge of the variety of different trends all over the world and offer products that are very successful among several European customers such as Fendi, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Cain, Versace, Armani, Penny Black and Marina Rinaldi (Max Mara Group), Benetton, Induyco, Carolina Herrera, El Corte Englais, Scervino, Cavalli, Carzedonia, Gucci, etc.
In 2013, with the cooperation with Mr Daniele Aliverti – wellknown textile designer (AD Studio) – produces the new line of scarves: Linea 2ADD.
This high-level collection of scarves, is focused to fulfill the needs of the top range clients.
